Located in the village of Seraya Barat, 1km east of the Taman Ujung waterpalace, which is 80 km east of Denpasar on the coast looking towards Lombok. 10 minutes away is a traditional market town of Amlapura,what you don't find here are tourists and souvenirs. You will experience on this side of the island the true Bali with very few tourists. A short trip away is the wonderfully quaint fishing village of Padang Bai where if you really feel adventurous you can take the ferry to Lombok

My family and I have had two of the best holidays of our lives at this truly exceptional location. The magic of falling asleep to the sound of the sea and awaking to the waves on the shore. Eating breakfast watching the fishermen in the distance and knowing that the day ahead will be just perfect, with shopping trips to the market with our host and supper cooked from our purchases under the instruction of Wayan ( I am now quite an accomplished Indonisean cook). Nothing was to much trouble, and the people truly wonderful. We watched traditional balinese dancers practicing weekly the other side of the fishpond opposite the beackside bungalow. Our only regret is that we cant visit more often.
